Woohoo! It is time to talk food! We love to make cheeseburgers for dinner, we usually do it once a week. This is my Best Burger Recipe. I promise if you follow the simple directions you will end up with a juicy, tender and flavorful burger.
What you need:
~ 1 pound ground beef (I use 93/7)
~ 1 1/2 T. steak sauce (like A1)
~ 1 T. milk
~ Non-stick cooking spray
What you do:
Step One: Add steak sauce, milk, salt and pepper (to taste) to a mixing bowl with the ground beef.
Step Two: Use a fork to mix all ingredients just until combined. It is important not to overmix and not to smash and compact the meat mixture.
Step Three: Place a piece of plastic wrap on a plate and spray with cooking spray. Place 1/4 of the meat mixture on top of the greased plastic wrap (in a loose ball).
Step Four: Spray another piece of plastic wrap and lay it on top of the meat ball, greased side down. Take another plate and press it down on top of the meat to flatten into a burger patty, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
Step Five: Repeat with the rest of the meat.
Step Six: Heat a pan over medium and spray with cooking spray, cook burgers until desired doneness.
