This week I’d like to share a recipe that is an absolute favorite of my husbands family. My husband and I started making them for my family functions and my family fell in love with them also! These jalapeño poppers are SUPER easy. The only pic that I have is of the poppers before they are baked, but as soon as I have a “ready to eat” picture I will add it!
What you will need:
Fresh Jalapeños (each jalapeño will make 2 poppers, so use as many as you need)
Cream cheese
Bacon (each strip will make 2 poppers, so have as many strips as you do jalapeños and you will be good!)
What you do:
1) Cut the tops off of the jalapeños (stem) and cut them in half
2) Using a spoon, scrape the seeds out of each jalapeño into the trash
3) Using a knife, fill each jalapeño with cream cheese
4) Wrap each popper with half a slice of bacon (You can secure with a toothpick, but it’s not absolutely necessary)
5) Bake at 350 degree until bacon is done (about 45 minutes depending on bacon thickness & desired crispiness)
