GrowBox by The Garden Patch Review

A few days ago we celebrated the first day of spring. Unfortunately I live in North Dakota and spring hasn’t quite sprung yet. It was a balmy -5 degrees when I took my daughter to school this morning.¬†Regardless of the weather here, I am already thinking about what I will be planting this year. At our home in Colorado we had a huge raised garden and although there will be no such garden here, I still wanted to be able to grow a few things. I am so fortunate to be able to work with The Garden Patch and do a review of their GrowBox.

What excited me the most about the GrowBox is that it claimed to be easy to set up, and basically fool proof to grow amazing plants. Since I have just recently planted my seeds, I do not know if they will grow to be impressive, but what I can tell you is that it is a snap to set up! I did it with my 4 year old in our living room, and it was simple and the instructions were easy to follow. We snapped the top and bottom pieces together, filled it with soil, wet it down, rolled out the Nutrient Patch and planted our seeds! All in all the process took us less than 15 minutes.

When you purchase the GrowBox for $29.95 plus shipping, you will receive the planter and the nutrient patch. You will need to purchase the soil and seeds that you would like to plant. I decided to grow herbs because it is very hard to find fresh herbs up here. We planted basil, parsley, oregano, chives, rosemary and thyme. We will grow the herbs under the window in our mudroom until it is warm enough to move them outside. The wonderful thing about this sort of garden is that you can easily move it from inside to outside and vice versa in case of frost or damaging weather!

If you choose to go organic, you can purchase an organic nutrient patch from them as well. I love this, and if I were growing fruits or veggies I would have definitely gone this route!

I 100% enjoyed my experience with the GrowBox and was very pleased with the customer service I received. I will be updating this post monthly to show how my herbs are growing!

**I was provided a GrowBox free of charge in exchange for my honest review. All opinions expressed in this review are my own**
