My Get Fit Journey w/ Revolt Fitness – Week One

Yesterday I announced that I had started a new fitness program, so many of you were curious about it that I even got some emails and text messages wanting to know what it was and WAS IT WORKING?!? Fitness is most definitely a hot topic, especially amongst mommy friends who are just trying to get a piece of their former bodies back! I have been given the amazing opportunity to try the Revolt Fitness program free of charge (normally just $9.99/month) in exchange for blogging about my results on a weekly basis. I did not have to think twice about this opportunity, after just a few minutes of researching the program, I knew that it would be manageable for me and my family. The meal plan is practical (and yummy enough for hubby and kiddos), the workouts are quick and SUPER effective, and the community & support is second to none!

RevoltFitness

I started my journey on Monday, and was pleasantly surprised when my hubby jumped on board. We have spent the last week following the detox meal plan (which all new Revolt members are encouraged to do for their first week). The first two days were the hardest, and if you have an aversion to spinach and hard boiled eggs then it might be tricky! It is definitely not a starvation diet, we ate plenty of food, just not all of the sweet and savory delicacies we are used to! From here on out the meal plans are much more flavorful and varied, I cannot wait! I have a pineapple sitting on top of my fridge that might as well be a chocolate sundae at this point!

The Revolt program also provides video-led workouts that are different each week. They are typically 20-30 minutes long and focus on cardio, upper body and lower body, in a circuit-like style. I must say, the workouts have been phenomenal, and it has been so much fun doing them with the kids.

Well the moment you have all been waiting for, does it work? Has it been worth the hard boiled eggs and spinach salads?!? YES! Here are the stats:

Week 1:

~ Starting weight: 153 lbs.

~ Weight Loss: 9 pounds (so far)

~ 1/2 inch loss from the waist

Yes, you read that right, I have lost 9 pounds in the last 5 days. The results are amazing, and they only motivate me to keep pushing through this.
