OK, Easter is over, so why are there still so many plastic eggs laying around my house?!? I HAD to figure out a way to re-purpose them, here is one fun way!
Supplies:
Plastic Eggs
Piece of cardboard
Hot glue gun
Decorative paper (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Cut your piece of cardboard into desired shape (rectangle or circle works well)
Step 2: Cover your cardboard with decorative paper (if desired) with hot glue and cover with contact paper (wipes off easily!)
Step 3: Using the glue gun, glue the bottom piece of each egg to the cardboard (there is usually a small hole in each egg, just make sure to cover it with the glue so paint doesn’t leak)
Step 4: Fill with paint and cover with the top of the egg!
My kids thought this was so funny, they loved painting with it!
That sounds like it would be fun. I would love to see how the painting turned out. Was it a big mess or easily contained chaos?
