People Exercising at a Gymnasium

It’s hard to believe that almost 12 weeks ago I started this journey with Revolt. I cannot begin to tell you how terrified that I was going into this! I have tried (barely) and failed many times at sticking to any sort of program, scheduled workout plan, diet, you name it! Looking back now, I am so grateful that I decided to give it a chance, and that I stuck to it. Not every week has been perfect, I have done my fair share of cheating and being lazy. But I have been more successful than not. I think the bulk of my success comes from the fact that I have had a partner in this journey. My husband did not hesitate to jump on board when I told him about the opportunity that Revolt presented me. He has been by my side from the beginning and has had his own success, to the tune of 30 pounds lost! That is a total of almost 50 pounds down between the two of us! My suggestion to anyone entering into a weight loss mission is to make sure that they have a partner in crime. That person can be a spouse, parents, sibling, neighbor, church friend, Facebook friend, whoever else has a shared goal! Put your heads together and come up with a plan that works for you both, cheer each other on, encourage each other to stick with the plan, share successes and failures! You WILL be more fruitful than if you go it alone!

I’m skipping my usual weigh-in this week in hopes that I will have some GREAT numbers at the end of week 12. Have a great week and don’t forget to make at least one healthy substitution a day food wise, and get your body moving!
