Silky Smooth Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Smoothie

I love chocolate. I love peanut butter. Traditionally this is not a great combo for staying on track with fitness goals. I think I found the answer! This chocolate and peanut butter smoothie will both satisfy sweet tooth cravings AND keep you full! It’s packed full of good-for-you ingredients too!

I have been drinking this every morning around 8 (I wake up starving!) and don’t typically need to eat again until 1 or 2. Then it’s usually a light lunch and then a veggie-protein packed dinner. MOST of my daily carbs come from this smoothie, so if you are curbing carb intake and are consuming carbs during other meals, you may want to modify.

It should be noted that the although the peanut butter adds a significant amount of fat, only a small fraction is saturated fat, and I am using a peanut butter with no added sugar or salt. The peanut butter can easily be omitted to cut down on fat intake if needed.
