Homeschool Curriculum Choices 2014-2015

Is it seriously July already? That’s a real bummer because all of our curriculum from the 2013-2014 school year (we “school” Aug – May) is still sitting in tubs in the dining room. And I haven’t ordered our new stuff yet. Please tell me I am not the only one procrastinating!

I haven’t placed the order, but here is the line-up this year, just in case you need some inspiration or are just nosy (it’s ok, really).

I’d love to know what you think about any of these choices, and what you are planning on using this year!

  1. We’re all about My Father’s World, so that’s what we’re using again (this is our 7th year, crazy)! MFW recommends all of the other books for spelling, math, english, etc, so we buy those from them too. They recommend Spelling By Sound and Structure for 2nd grade so we’re using that for my 2nd grader. The others do Spelling Power and we love it. Singapore math for everyone. And although I ordered and have had our 2014-2015 curriculum for over a month, I still haven’t gone through it all yet. :P Tackling the mess tomorrow, boxing up last year’s stuff and organizing the stuff for this year. I can’t believe summer is almost over already!!!

    • We used MFW last year for 2nd grade and loved it! I wanted to try something a little different this year, we will see what we think! I am going to have to be way more organized and plan out my lessons since I won’t have the MFW planner to guide me! ;)
